The Ayala Group, led by bilyonaryo Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala, is shaking up the top management of its electronics subsidiary, Integrated Micro-Electronics Inc. (IMI).
Starting next month, IMI Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Mary Ann S. Natividad will transition to the role of advisor to the CEO and chairman, Alberto M. de Larrazabal, as part of the company’s “management reorganization.” Natividad, 57, has been CCO since 2020 and previously served as Global Head of Sales.
IMI also approved the “discontinuance of employment” of its technology business head Nicholas John Davey, a British national, and chief procurement officer Ernest Ang, a Malaysian national, effective 30 September 2024. Both executives were only appointed to their current posts in April last year.
The purge at the top of IMI started two months ago with the retirement of Arthur Tan as CEO after 22 years. He was replaced by Louis Sylvester Hughes – a former senior manager at General Electric, COO of Universal Electronics, a Nasdaq listed EMS company, and CEO of Singapore-based Beyonics.
Hughes and Frenchman Gilles Bernard, a former president of IMI, were also tapped to replace Mark Robert H. Uy and Ginaflor C. Oris, who were just elected last month, as directors of the company.
In April, IMI also named Robert William Heese as CFO and compliance officer.
